In
the Fall of 2015, Theatre In the Raw brought an adaptation of
Reginald Rose's classic drama to the stage as part of the Heart
of the City Festival for a very limited run.
The
thrilling classic play by Reginald Rose, adapted by Sherman L.
Sergel, directed by Jay Hamburger. A young man faces the death
penalty. His fate hangs in the hands of twelve jurors. Eleven
are ready to get on with it and pronounce him guilty. One wants
to ask some questions and re-examine the evidence. Sparks fly
during a hot summer day as the process of justice is truly tried
and tested. Who wins out in the jury room?
